FCPA Summer Free Concert at NEC

Each summer, the Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts presents a series of free concerts that bring outstanding musicians to audiences in the Boston area. In August 2026, the series welcomed three OMI artists to Williams Hall at New England Conservatory: OMI founder and violinist Qianwen Shen, cellist Mo Mo, and pianist Yinfei Wang.

The program featured music for violin, cello, and piano, along with a violin and guitar duo and a quartet in which guitarist Junhong Kuang joined the trio. For OMI, the evening brought Qianwen back to New England Conservatory, where she earned her master’s degree and graduate diploma, and Yinfei to the school where he teaches in the Preparatory School. It also reached a new audience of chamber music lovers.
